Mobile Reality brings VR to life through its multi-user hardware and software solutions.

Virtually Reality is typically presented as a single-user experience because the technical complexities of presenting VR are expensive and demanding. Complicated PC setups appeal to home-based gaming enthusiasts, but everyday consumers must try premium VR at location-based arcades, convention demos, or worse, consider non-interactive, smartphone-based 360 video to be VR. We believe accessibility, availability, and complexity are simply unacceptable in VR's current state and communal, multiuser VR is a more effective and engaging experience.

We have built a space-effective, mobile, multi-user virtual reality entertainment unit able to position itself in high-traffic events and provide group experiences to crowds of people. Our high-capacity, high-throughput service presents VR content to simultaneous users, group after group with ease. It's an efficient VR presentation method, with premium, interactive VR experiences and the ability to serve nearly a thousand people per day.

Our prototype franchise-style unit has been operating for six months, providing entertainment for attendees at events, festivals, fairs, concerts, carnivals, conferences, private rentals, promotional activations, and on city streets. However, the mobile franchise model is just one market to explore. We believe this disruptive technology could usher in an entirely new way to present and distribute VR content simply and efficiently in markets that include gaming, real estate, training and education, promotion, esports, and travelling amusement.

Mobile Reality is one of the first companies tackling multiuser VR presentation, and we believe our experience, hardware, and software solutions will be an ecosystem for content distribution into various markets that will change the landscape of VR presentation and consumption for the better.

Pitch Deck

Product & Service

Our current business model is focused on generating revenue from B2C vending, private rentals, and B2B promotional activations or sponsorships. The unit travels to an event and is positioned where customers can purchase a curated VR gaming experience for an allotted window of time. The unit holds up to 8 people, seated to facilitate more users, or the entire unit can be rented as a private or promotional installation, and can even be content-customized for specific VR presentations.

Each group experience is launched and monitored from a central control hub by a single employee. The control hub consists of computer networking, hardware switching, and scripted automation to efficiently control simultaneous stations and allow a high-throughput, multiuser presentation. This unit can serve up to 96 people per hour depending on the length of the experience.

This unit has provided direct service to the following kinds of events:

  • Regional Festivals / Local Fairs
  • Rentals - Corporate / Private
  • Conferences
  •  Street Vending

This unique device and presentation format has generated interest and traction from various markets which we believe would directly benefit from this kind of multiuser VR (MUVR) presentation. To best provide an efficient service to these markets, there is a need for a more efficient software/hardware solution evolution from our current prototype.

 These markets of opportunity are:

  • Training, Education, and Recruitment Tools
  • Promotion and Advertising Installations
  • Travelling Amusement Groups
  • Real Estate Presentation Centres
  • E-Sports Tournaments and Spectating
  • Franchise Gaming Units for Mobile Business Owners

Positioning ourselves as a leader in distributing mobile, multiuser VR content is our priority. Creating a more efficient and user-friendly operation and presentation model through hardware/software development is our primary goal to obtain this position. Offering a turn-key hardware/software solution that allows simple, efficient management of simultaneous VR stations for presentation and distribution of any multiuser VR content will allow scalable growth into further markets.

We have targeted the Travelling Amusement market as our primary focus and opportunity to begin rolling out a refined MUVR software/hardware solution, testing its operational efficiency and durability, while retaining ownership over initial units and generating immediate revenue. The market itself is open to modernization and innovation, and can to lead to a significant product line for MUVR carnival gaming experiences and content distribution channel, while we in tandem continue to improve the operational hardware/software solution for other markets of opportunity.

Team Story

Mobile Reality was founded in 2017 by Scott Belyea and Dave Rice, veterans of the Vancouver film industry with expertise in entertainment production and service.  Fascinated with the possibilities of the VR space as a presentation format, we noticed a glaring problem: VR is inconvenient, inaccessible, and is technologically inefficient. We envisioned a premium distribution and presentation platform that would be able to serve VR content in space-efficient mobile units, serving thousands per day.

After crunching the numbers, there was a clear business model, and best of all, was not yet a crowded space... So we set out to turn our concept into a [mobile] reality :) A few thousand hours later, after planning, pitching, calls, designing, ordering, building, wiring, testing, wrenching, blood, sweat, and tears, our prototype emerged, ready to launch into a season of on-the-ground operations.

After six months of trial markets, we are ready to implement our knowledge and data analysis into effective expansion and position ourselves as leaders in VR presentation. We've designed a hardware/software system that will act as the core of the expansion and have targeted a specific market for disruption and immediate revenue generation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Making an Investment in Mobile Reality Enterprises
How does investing work?

When you complete your investment on SeedInvest, your money will be transferred to an escrow account where an independent escrow agent will watch over your investment until it is accepted by Mobile Reality Enterprises. Once Mobile Reality Enterprises accepts your investment, and certain regulatory procedures are completed, your money will be transferred from the escrow account to Mobile Reality Enterprises in exchange for your securities. At that point, you will be a proud owner in Mobile Reality Enterprises.

What is the difference between preferred equity and a convertible note?

Preferred equity is usually issued to outside investors and carries rights and conditions that are different from that of common stock. For example, preferred equity may include rights that prevent or minimize the effects of dilution or grants special privileges in situations when the company is sold.

A convertible note is a unique form of debt that converts into equity, usually in conjunction with a future financing round. The investor effectively loans money to a startup with the expectation that they will receive equity in the company in the future at a discounted price per share when the company raises its next round of financing.

To learn more about startup investment types check out “How to Choose a Startup Investment” in our academy.

What will I need to complete my investment?

To make an investment, you will need the following information readily available:

  1. Personal information such as your current address and phone number
  2. Employment and employer information
  3. Net worth and income information
  4. Social Security Number or passport
  5. ABA bank routing number and checking account number (typically found on a personal check or bank statement)

Because Mobile Reality Enterprises is offering its securities under Rule 506(c) of Regulation D, your status as an Accredited Investor will also need to be verified and you will be asked to provide documentation supporting your income, net worth, revenue, or net assets or a letter from a qualified advisor such as a Registered Investment Advisor, Registered Broker Dealer, Lawyer, or CPA.

What if I change my mind about investing?

Until a closing occurs, you may cancel your investment at any time, for any reason. You will receive an email when the closing occurs and your securities have been issued. If you have already funded your investment and your funds are in escrow, your funds will be promptly refunded to you upon cancellation. To cancel your investment, please go to your portfolio page.

After My Investment
How can I sell my securities in the future?

Currently there is no market or liquidity for these securities. Right now Mobile Reality Enterprises does not plan to list these securities on a national exchange or another secondary market. At some point Mobile Reality Enterprises may choose to do so, but until then you should plan to hold your investment for a significant period of time before a “liquidation event” occurs. A “liquidation event” is when Mobile Reality Enterprises either lists their securities on an exchange, is acquired, or goes bankrupt.

How do I keep track of this investment?

You can return to SeedInvest at any time to view your portfolio of investments and obtain a summary statement.
