At least 30% of all IaaS/PaaS spend on the major cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is wasted, equating to $15B annually. For cloud-native companies, a major reason for this is the lack of granular understanding of the cloud bill and the lack of real-time feedback on spend that would support their frequent deployments, changes in business events and the impact of infrastructure changes made in service-oriented teams.
Taloflow's dynamic alerting and trend-spotting gives you the information you need to know when you need it. You can see reference points in your spending history to make sense of any anomalous or worrying situation. Taloflow's observability features surface real-time metrics to quickly detect cost anomalies and can help developers correlate those events to infrastructure or business events. You can also break things down based on tags, owners, and resource types.
Taloflow is currently working with at least 8 companies to mitigate the huge cost, time, and effort that goes into solving cloud spend issues, anomalies, and worrying trends that result from the gap in real-time information and beyond. Taloflow is raising a seed round to fulfill its objective of making its infrastructure monitor generally-available to AWS users in Q4 of 2019.
Taloflow's Infrastructure Monitor, Tim, collects all the activity from your AWS infrastructure through the AWS Event Bus and your AWS Cost and Usage Report (all non-invasive) to give you the following benefits with regards to monitoring cloud spend:
1) Improve reaction time:
Taloflow's dynamic alerting and trend-spotting gives you the information you need to know when you need it. With real-time forecasting and alerting, you don't have to wait days or weeks to react or mitigate incidents.
2) Investigate what matters:
Taloflow uses machine learning to reduce noise and false positives. Drill deeper into your data with smart filters such as resource types, tags, and more.
3) Correlate events and find patterns
Taloflow allows you to gain a better understanding of your AWS spend by correlating business and infrastructure events such as deployments so that you can find likely root causes faster.

When you complete your investment on SeedInvest, your money will be transferred to an escrow account where an independent escrow agent will watch over your investment until it is accepted by Taloflow. Once Taloflow accepts your investment, and certain regulatory procedures are completed, your money will be transferred from the escrow account to Taloflow in exchange for your securities. At that point, you will be a proud owner in Taloflow.
Preferred equity is usually issued to outside investors and carries rights and conditions that are different from that of common stock. For example, preferred equity may include rights that prevent or minimize the effects of dilution or grants special privileges in situations when the company is sold.
A convertible note is a unique form of debt that converts into equity, usually in conjunction with a future financing round. The investor effectively loans money to a startup with the expectation that they will receive equity in the company in the future at a discounted price per share when the company raises its next round of financing.

Currently there is no market or liquidity for these securities. Right now Taloflow does not plan to list these securities on a national exchange or another secondary market. At some point Taloflow may choose to do so, but until then you should plan to hold your investment for a significant period of time before a “liquidation event” occurs. A “liquidation event” is when Taloflow either lists their securities on an exchange, is acquired, or goes bankrupt.
