Ryan Feit

CEO and Co-founder

Ryan co-founded SeedInvest because he saw the need for a better way to connect entrepreneurs and investors. Prior to founding SeedInvest, Ryan worked at Carlson Capital, Wellspring Capital Management and Lehman Brothers in New York City where he invested in, financed and managed dozens of private and public businesses. Prior to the passage of the JOBS Act, Ryan supported The Startup Exemption, the nonprofit responsible for bringing the concept of equity crowdfunding to Washington, D.C. Ryan co-founded the Crowdfunding Professional Association and currently serves as an Executive Board Member and the Chair of the Education and Training Committee. Ryan also serves as a Board Member of the Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates group and the Chair of the Portals Committee. Whenever given the chance, Ryan enjoys traveling and has been to 77 countries. Ryan received an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

James Han


James loves looking for and helping build what's next. Prior to co-founding SeedInvest, James was a professional investor at Francisco Partners, where he focused on equity investment opportunities in deep technology. James also spent a number of years at Morgan Stanley in their technology investment banking group, Riot Games and Cisco in various roles. James brings to SeedInvest his love for technology and innovation as well as an unhealthy infatuation with the Los Angeles Lakers. James received an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton Undergraduate Program as well as a BAS in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.


Aaron Kellner

Investment Director

Prior to joining SeedInvest, Aaron co-founded a mobile app company. He quickly recognized the problems associated with raising money for a twenty-first century startup within a twentieth-century regulatory framework. Aaron's positive entrepreneurial experience and desire to help small companies with their own fundraising hurdles led him to SeedInvest. Previously, he worked at Goldman Sachs as an analyst on the firm’s NYSE Designated Market Maker desk. There he provided situational advice to traders and developed pitch books for prospective issuers resulting in wins worth over $100 billion in aggregate market capitalization. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he worked as a private equity analyst at a small-cap fund where he was primarily responsible for analyzing investment opportunities and conducting due diligence. He graduated summa cum laude from NYU’s Stern School of Business with a BS in Finance and Marketing. Aaron spends the majority of his free time reading, cooking and cheering on the New York Rangers.

Alexandra Tynion

Marketing Director

Prior to joining SeedInvest, Alex Tynion worked at Ralph Lauren in their marketing department, focusing on product launches and branding initiatives. In February 2013, Alex founded Hark Society, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing education and cultivating passion in the lives of underserved students in New York City. After writing her thesis on branding universities in a digital age, Alex helped develop an innovation program for her alma mater, Georgetown University. She is most fascinated by watching brands grow (particularly SeedInvest) and the narratives that connect customers to brands.

Ameet Padte

Investment Director

Ameet loves learning how companies form around a concept, establish their identity and execute a strategy. Prior to joining SeedInvest, he was an equity research analyst at Nomura Securities International where he covered the ever-changing Internet, Media and Advertising industries. Before that Ameet worked at the J. Walter Thompson (JWT) advertising agency where he devised international strategy for some of Johnson & Johnson's most prestigious brands. He loves discussing the impact that modern technology and social media have on our lives and spends his free time reading about politics, checking in on Foursquare and draining the battery on his Android phone. Ameet graduated from Boston College with a double-major in Finance and Marketing.

Andres Diana

Managing Director of SeedInvest LA

Andres Diana is the Managing Director for SeedInvest Los Angeles. Before joining SeedInvest in 2014, Andres founded and managed a broker dealer and trading floor spending most of his career working as a quantitative proprietary trader in the public equities markets. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Wharton School and loves all manner of action sports, especially Kitesurfing.

AnMaree Williams

Product Designer

AnMaree has a passion for finding creative solutions for client side challenges in technology. Before joining SeedInvest, AnMaree worked with over 20 startup companies at Bizdom Detroit, a seed funding investment firm. She is a versatile designer with a formal education from University of Michigan in graphic visual design and has enhanced her design skills by adding front-end development and UX/UI to her repertoire. In her free time, AnMaree enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, and visiting her home town in St.Thomas, US Virgin Island.

Aryeh Friedman

Corporate Counsel

An entrepreneur at heart, Aryeh enjoys learning how startups operate and leverage technology in creative ways to craft a successful business model. Prior to joining SeedInvest, Aryeh worked at FINRA where he reviewed hundreds of IPO's, follow-on, and secondary offerings. During law school Aryeh worked at FINRA, the FDIC, USAO, New York Attorney General's Office and the New York State Supreme Court. Aryeh enjoys traveling to Israel and is especially interested in the Israeli startup and biotech scene. Aryeh graduated magna cum laude from Queens College with a B.B.A. in Corporate Finance and cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Harrison Hines

Venture Analyst

Before joining SeedInvest, Harrison worked for The GIG Ltd., a venture capital firm in Europe, where he focused on early stage investments. His responsibilities included conducting due diligence and working closely with the firm's portfolio companies. Prior to that, Harrison helped launch Enterprise Technology Research, a startup market research firm based in Manhattan. He was responsible for helping create the proprietary research model as well as selling research to top hedge funds and mutual funds across the US. In his free time, Harrison enjoys surfing, fishing, and SEC/NY Giants football. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Delaware.

Homan Lee

Founding Engineer

Homan has always been interested in entrepreneurship, business, technology, and the roles they play in our lives. After meeting James during a visit to New York, Homan decided to dive in head first and join SeedInvest to experience entrepreneurship first hand and help startups grow. Prior to SeedInvest, Homan held various roles at Amazon where he developed, managed, and led different technical projects. In his free time, Homan enjoys scuba diving, skiing and rock climbing. Homan received a MEng and a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University College of Engineering.

Jay Thakrar

Venture Analyst

Jay has an innate passion for finding and helping talented individuals innovate and grow. Jay was formerly an Investment Associate at Cambridge Associates (CA), where he specialized in private equity and venture capital. Prior to CA, he led business development at SoluSoft, where he focused on product management and marketing for business process management solutions. He also founded a music and event management company, JT Entertainers, which specialized in private and corporate events globally. He studied Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Marketing at Babson College and Managerial Economics and Strategy at the London School of Economics. During his time at Babson, he was also an Entrepreneurship Mentor on campus. In his spare time, Jay enjoys training karate, mixing music, traveling the world, and exploring new cuisines.

Ken Kanara

Managing Director of SeedInvest Florida

Ken Kanara is the Managing Director of SeedInvest Florida. Prior to SeedInvest, Ken worked as a management consultant for Booz & Company for 9 years. He serviced clients across a range of projects, industries, and geographies, splitting his time between New York and Dubai. Ken enjoys yoga, working out, and the beautiful Miami weather. Ken received a BA in Economics and a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa (top 10% of class).

Pelli Wang

Venture Director

Pelli is excited by the global paradigm shift towards entrepreneurship innovation and is always on the hunt for the next, new thing. Prior to joining SeedInvest, she worked at Lean Startup Machine, which is a NYC edu-tech startup that was part of the TechStars accelerator. She lead their business development efforts in Asia / Greater China and built key partnerships with tech leaders and influencers. She also spent time in various investing roles at Capmark Finance and the Barclays Capital investment banking group. In her spare time, she is constantly uploading food photos to Instagram, practicing bikram yoga, and traveling to exotic locales. Pelli graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance, Management and Accounting with a minor in East Asian Studies.

Peter Thomson

Digital Marketing Director

Peter Thomson is a digital marketer specializing in helping early-stage companies position themselves for capital raising and rapid growth. Peter studied at UC Berkeley, started his career as a venture capital lawyer at Russell McVeagh and has worked in management consulting and brand strategy for startups, global technology clients such as Panasonic, Toshiba and Philips. He is the author of the 2013 book Tickle: Digital Marketing For Tech Companies. Most recently he was responsible for marketing at equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs. At SeedInvest, Peter is responsible for digital strategy and helping startups promote their campaigns to investors.

Sapna Patel

Managing Director of SeedInvest Georgia

Sapna comes from a family of entrepreneurs and has a love for innovation and making life more efficient. Before joining SeedInvest in 2015, Sapna spent most of her career working as an advisor in private wealth management for several local firms in Atlanta. Throughout her career, Sapna empowered clients by giving them clarity and confidence to make important financial decisions. Sapna enjoys traveling, cooking, music, and hopes to become a stellar guitarist. She graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science and received her Master’s in accounting from Georgia State University.

Sara Baris

Managing Director of SeedInvest Colorado

Prior to joining SeedInvest, Sara worked as an attorney and client advisor at boutique investment firms in Chicago and Denver. She is passionate about building strong relationships between investors and entrepreneurs. Sara spends as much time as possible in the Colorado outdoors camping, mountain biking, skiing, and training for triathlons. She has a bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University and received her J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from DePaul University.
